Thanks for visiting my new blog WordsWithMichelle and joining me on this new venture. It has been a long time coming. So glad it’s seeing the light of day : )

I must confess though, I miss publishing my former blog  (the happygrrls blog) but I am beyond excited that I am starting a new blog devoted to documenting the connections I make with the incredible people that I meet in the city.  If you don’t know already, I am a chatty girl that loves meeting people.  I love connecting with people who are doing fantastic things – it can either be the arts, in entertainment or the community- I am inspired by them all.

WordsWithMichelle will feature biweekly interviews (that’s every other week, y’all), so remember to visit the blog regularly.

My first official interview will be posted on March 10, 2014.  I was interested in meeting soulful singer/songwriter Shi Wisdom, so I sent her an email.  I was completely geeked out when she replied and agreed to sit down with me and chat.  I had tons of fun getting to know her and talking about her career.
